A Local Garden Resource Reborn
Are you a gardener? Do you revel in the bloom and bounty our short season can produce?
I was introduced to this little nursery several years ago by my mother in law. She was determined to get my garden in shape (still a work in progress) and introduce me to the local nurseries. I am a bee gardener; I have a whole patch dedicated to supporting bee’s. So O attempt to garden organically, and focus on planting things not pre-treated with chemicals.
I noticed via Social Media that a ‘Schilling Garden Market’ popping up in my new feed, and low and behold, the old Schilling Solar City location has re-opened under new ownership! {hear the cheers from local plant lovers} The new owners have put in a tun of work in to getting the green houses back in shape, and bring the nursery forward to its new presence. As you can see from the photos I took today, they have a beautiful assortment of both shade and sun flowers, as well as many garden staples in the form of bushes and some trees! They are not going over board, they are starting reasonably, and you can see their progress towards growing!
I hope you are as excited as I am, and that you will take the time to go support one of our local nurseries in their attempt to bring the plants and vegetables specific to our area to market.
Happy Planting!
